August 17, first day of senior year. Never thought my senior year would come by this soon , but I am glad it is my last year here in high school. I attended Lindsay High School my freshman year and half of my sophomore year. Second semester of my sophomore school year I dropped out due to a family situation. Started my junior year at our local continuation school JJ cairns and caught up on all my classes. After I caught up in all my classes and having arguments with my parents and older siblings about graduating from continuation school, I decided to come back to Lindsay High School and graduate with the class of 2016. I am not expecting this year to be easy. Graduation will come sooner than I expected but I am ready. I plan to do as many fun school activities with my classmates all year long. I'm excited because throughout my high school year I was not too involved with school activities. I also want to try to join as much clubs as I can and be even more involved in school. I am ecstatic to go to senior sunrise with my classmate and have a good time.
Senior year so far has been a little on the rough side. I’m doing the best I can to stay on track and finish all my assignments/homework on time. I am beyond stress we are in the second week of high school and i have tons of homework to do. I will need to stay focused throughout my senior year and use my time wisely. I have started up my journals and I am committed to keep entering all my journals on time. So far I am on pace to graduate and I have several electives along with English and government. Also, one of my electives is a freshmen class which I need to finish because it looks bad unfinished. The freshman elective doesn't make me behind pace but it must be finished . I am determined to work hard and not fall behind. I am looking forward for graduation day, because I am more than ready to start achieving my life goal as a registered nurse and later on becoming a nurse practitioner. I've been looking at several different four year universities and two of my picks have been SJSU and Fresno State. I am also starting to look for all the scholarships I can just to be on the safe side and meet all the requirements I need. I know this year won't be easy, but i will set my mind straight and finish my senior year strong.
